Bishkek, Aug. 20, 2020 /Kabar/. As part of his two-day working visit to Naryn Oblast, today, Aug. 20 President Sooronbay Jeenbekov familiarized with the process of digitalization of Naryn town, his press service reported.
Naryn Mayor Nurbek Moldokadyrov informed on implementation of the Smart City pilot project, in the framework of which it is planned to digitize all municipal and public services.
The main goal of the project is to increase accessibility, promptness in rendering services to the population and efficiency of decision-making by municipal structures.
Under the project, the activities of municipal enterprises will be digitized, which will make it possible to increase efficiency while providing the population with access to clean water, purification and improvement of the town.
In addition, the city education system and the town library fund will be digitized and an electronic social database will be created.
Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted that digitalization is a global process, which is penetrating into all spheres of human life every day and Kyrgyzstan must keep up with global trends.
By Presidential Decrees, the digital transformation of the country has been defined as a priority of state policy for the second consecutive year.
