Bishkek, Jan.20, 2025. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov laid a capsule for the construction of a new building of the General Prosecutor's Office in Bishkek.
In his speech, the Kyrgyz leader emphasized that the Prosecutor's Office is the key institution that ensures the rule of law, strengthening the rule of law and protecting the interests of citizens and the state on the basis of the law.
Zhaparov noted that the construction of a new building of the Prosecutor General's Office is an important step to improve the working conditions of employees who serve the law, fight crime and protect the rights of citizens.
The new administrative building will consist of seven floors and a total area of 20,000 square meters, which will be equipped with modern equipment. The building will include office rooms, small and large halls, as well as a two-level underground parking lot for 200 cars. The completion of construction and commissioning are scheduled for two years.
The president stated that significant work has been done in recent years to improve the activities of the prosecutor's office. Thanks to government support, 111 service apartments have been built for employees of the regional prosecutor's offices in Naryn, Talas, Osh and Chui Oblasts. The buildings of prosecutor's offices in Talas Oblast, Chong-Alay and Kochkor regions, Sverdlovsk district of the capital and Batken garrison have also been renovated and are now equipped with modern material and technical facilities. The head of state emphasized that improved working conditions and increased salaries contribute to the dedication of employees to their service.
Addressing the prosecutors, Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized their important role in ensuring law, order and justice. He noted that as the foundations of legality in the country are consistently strengthened, the role and importance of the Prosecutor's Office are increasing, and the work of prosecutors requires a high level of morality and responsibility to the motherland, and called for steadfast adherence to these high principles.
At the end of the meeting, the Kyrgyz leader met with veterans of the Prosecutor's Office, who expressed gratitude for their attention to strengthening the country's legal system.
