Bishkek, Jan. 30, 2018 / Kabar /. Today President of Kyrgyzstan, Sooronbay Jeenbekov received chairman of the Kyrgyz State Border Service (SBS), Ularbek Sharsheyev, the press service of the President’s Office reported.
Sooronbay Jeenbekov was informed about the general situation on the state border of the country, as well as the ongoing work for protection and security of the border.
Sharsheyev also reported the President on the progress of reconstruction and modernization of checkpoints on the state border.
The Head of State tasked the department to continue work to improve the social protection of border guards, as well as to focus efforts on fighting corruption in the border service system.
Jeenbekov also gave a number of instructions to the SBS to further improve the combat efficiency of border units.
Adviser of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jenish Razakov, First Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic , Damir Sagynbaev and Special Representative of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on Boundary Delimitation, Kurbanbay Iskandarov took part in the meeting.
