Bishkek, Dec. 3, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov instructed to double the daily food allowance for children in inpatient social institutions. This became know during the president’ visit to the Belovodskoye Children's Psycho-Neurological Social Residential Institution (CSI), located in the village of Belovodskoe, Moscow region of Chui Oblast.
While familiarizing with the daily ration of the inmates, Zhaparov noted the need to pay special attention to the children's nutrition.
"The daily ration affects the development and health of children. We need to provide them with varied, nutritious and wholesome food," he said.
Responding to the question of the Kyrgyz leader, Minister of Labor, Social Welfare and Migration Kudaibergen Bazarbaev reported the daily norms of food for children in social stationary institutions of the country is KGS 110 per person (USD 1,20).
President Zhaparov noted that the amount currently allocated does not meet the natural norms of nutrition, which are necessary to meet the physiological needs of children and adults.
In this regard, he instructed Minister Bazarbaev to promptly develop a draft decision of the Cabinet of Ministers to double the monetary norms of nutrition approved for social stationary institutions of the country.
