Bishkek, Feb.20, 2020. /Kabar/. The issue of internal roads is one of the most pressing for rural areas, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov stated today at the session of the Parliament.
Jeenbekov said at the end of 2019, 335 km of asphalt was laid on the republic's roads.

"You know the condition of the internal roads leaves much to be desired. Since last year, asphalt has been laid on at least 3km of road in every region and town," he said.
The President emphasized that in 2019, 141 km of asphalt was laid in 40 district centers and 8 towns. This year, 150 km of asphalt will be laid in district centers.
"Repair works on internal roads will continue. I accentuate the internal roads because this issue is one of the most important for rural areas. The population often complains about the poor condition of the roads. We all know that there are practically no internal roads in the village, they are all destroyed.
