Bishkek, Feb. 6, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov got acquainted with the state of secondary schools in Bishkek.
The President’s press service reported that Jeenbekov visited two schools in the capital №69 and №12, where he examined school classes, talked with schoolchildren. He attended the lessons of geography, mathematics, German language, music and drawing. The children played for the President on Komuz, showed gymnastics and dancing.
At school number 12, Mayor of the capital Aziz Surakmatov made a presentation on the insufficient or overstaffing situation in Bishkek schools.
Having listened to the information, the President noted that in some schools the staffing level is 40%, in other schools the over-staffing reaches 300%, which needs to be analyzed and take appropriate measures.
School principals have voiced problems, the main of which is the overstaffing of classes and the lack of additional academic buildings.
President Jeenbekov noted that internal migration mainly affected Bishkek and Chui oblast, for this reason schools in this region are overcrowded with pupils and said to build new schools and additional building s in schools, where necessary.
