Bishkek, Dec. 16, 2019. / Kabar /. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov during his official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met with Chairman of the Majlis ash-Shura of Saudi Arabia Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Ash-Sheikh, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.
An exchange of views took place on pressing issues of bilateral cooperation, including the deepening of inter-parliamentary relations between the countries.
The head of state noted that the organization of visits at various levels lately indicates a mutual desire to develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
Stressing that the Kyrgyz side is ready to make maximum efforts to develop bilateral cooperation, noted the personal contribution of Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Ash-Sheikh in this matter.
Sooronbay Jeenbekov emphasized the special importance of building up trade and economic cooperation. He noted that at the invitation of the Chairman of the Majlis ash-Shura, a delegation of Kyrgyzstan from among the deputies of the Parliament, heads of state bodies and business representatives will soon visit.
President Sooronbay Jeenbekov expressed confidence that Kyrgyz-Saudi relations will continue to have a progressive character of development.
Chairman of the Majlis Ash-Shur of Saudi Arabia Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Ash-Sheikh noted that he was pleased with the official visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
He emphasized that the Kyrgyz people have a rich and ancient history and are distinguished by generosity. He noted that the bilateral relations of countries have a strong character. He expressed confidence in their further deepening.
He recalled that his visit to Kyrgyzstan in July this year was made on behalf of the King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdelaziz Al Saud.
Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Ash-Sheikh emphasized that he was ready to continue to make maximum efforts to increase joint cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia.
