President Jeenbekov meets with PM Abylgaziev

Bishkek, Jan.3, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov met on Friday with Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev.

The sides exchanged views on the results of the country's social and economic development in 2019, the prospects for implementing social and economic and infrastructure projects and priority strategic directions in 2020, the press service of the Kyrgyz President said.

Jeenbekov and Abylgaziev discussed measures on realization of priority directions for the period till 2023 as part of the National Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic, state policy of regional development and digitalization of the country.

The President stressed the state policy for the development of the country's regions covers a set of measures, aimed at developing the national economy.

Among other things, the goal is to reduce internal migration, which has an impact on the family institution, the level of social protection of children.

Taking into account this trend, this year the state will pay special attention to strengthening family traditions in bringing up the younger generation.

The head of state also drew attention to events within the framework of the Cross Year of Kyrgyzstan in Russia and Russia in Kyrgyzstan and the 75th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.

PM Abylgaziev provided information on the main activities of the executive authorities, plans and tasks of the Government for 2020, and execution of the national budget.

He stressed the implementation of all directions, announced by the President, is under special control.
