Bishkek, June 28, 2019. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov met with Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev, his press service reported.
During the meeting the sides discussed the current results, measures on further social and economic development of the country, execution of the budget revenues for the first half of the current year, as well as possible terms and amounts of increase of pensions and salaries of social workers.
President Jeenbekov noted that with the end of the regular session of the Parliament, the government should pay special attention to the implementation of the adopted laws.
Jeenbekov emphasized the need to accelerate regional development measures, digitalize the activities of public authorities, including fiscal procedures and the introduction of the Tunduk system of electronic interagency cooperation, and continue the implementation of the second phase of the Safe City project.
The Kyrgyz leader noted poor coordination and lack of control over the implementation of decisions of the Security Council on digitalization and subsoil use.
Besides, he stressed the importance of coordination of ministries and agencies on the implementation of agreements with the Russian, Chinese, Indian and German sides reached at the level of heads of state.
The President also stressed the need to strengthen control over the construction of roads in the district centers of the regions, the main highways of the republic such as North-South, Bishkek-Kara-Balta, Osh-Batken-Isfana-Khujand and others.
Also, following the results of the first meeting of the Committee on Industry and Entrepreneurship, business representatives raised a number of issues, the solution of which is entrusted to the Government. The executive authorities should draw up a clear plan of action and take comprehensive measures for its implementation.
"The heads of public authorities responsible for the incomplete execution of the revenue side of the treasury should bear personal responsibility,” the president said, stressing the need to fully implement the planned indicators of the republican budget revenues.
Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev said the Parliament supported almost the entire package of legislative initiatives of the government aimed at the implementation of economic projects and social and economic development in general.
The prime minister also presented information on the current activities of the executive authorities on timely financing of protected budget items, implementation of infrastructure development projects, agro-industrial complex, etc.
Prime Minister Abylgaziev noted that the implementation of all the directions announced by President Sooronbay Jeenbekov would be taken under strict control.
