Bishkek, Sept. 14, 2020. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov held Monday an online meeting with Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov.
Measures on stabilization and improvement of epidemiological situation, social and economic development of the country and preparation for autumn-winter period in conditions of coronavirus infection pandemic were discussed, the press service of the Kyrgyz president reported.
PM Boronov told about measures taken by governmental structures in this direction, as well as about organizational activities to prepare for the parliamentary elections, taking into account all sanitary requirements.
In addition, the head of the government reported on the results of his recent trip to Dzhalal-Abad Oblast of the country.
The local population has become more sympathetic to the activities of investors - mining companies, whose funds are used to implement a number of socially-oriented projects, and more local residents are involved in the work in companies.
Sooronbay Jeenbekov added that many international organizations and experts are talking about a possible second wave of the pandemic, and in this regard once again drew attention to the preparation of a sufficient stock of drugs, medicines, and the early completion of construction and repair of hospitals in the regions.
He stressed that despite the difficult economic situation, all social obligations of the state and compensation payments to medical workers must be ensured in a timely and full manner.
