President Jeenbekov receives the country's Ombudsman Mamytov

Bishkek, Dec. 4, 2018. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov today received Akyikatchy (Ombudsman) of the country Tokon Mamytov on Tuesday.

The press service of the President’s Office reported that the Ombudsman presented information about the upcoming conference on “Human Rights as the Basis of Constitutionalism and Parliamentary Democracy in the Kyrgyz Republic”, which will be held on December 10, 2018 in Bishkek, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Mamytov told that the Ombudsman’s Office resumes the work on the Hotline 115 of the Ombudsman’s Institute, through which citizens seek assistance regrding various issues.

Jeenbekov noted the importance of protecting and promoting human rights in Kyrgyzstan, and expressed support in regard to the issues under consideration within the upcoming conference on human rights.
