Bishkek, Apr. 28, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, Apr. 28, President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov signed a Decree "On amendments to certain decisions of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic", his press service said.
The Decree prolongs the state of emergency in the cities of Bishkek, Osh, Dzhalal-Abad and At-Bashy region of Naryn Oblast until May 10, 2020 inclusive.
This Decree comes into force upon signing and will be sent to the Jogorku Kenesh (the Kyrgyz Parliament) for approval.
Earlier, a state of emergency was introduced in Bishkek, Osh, Dzhalal-Abad cities, Nookat and Kara-Suu regions of Osh Oblast and Suzak region of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast from March 25 to Apr. 15, 2020.
On the territory of the city of Naryn and At-Bashi region of Naryn Oblast, a state of emergency was introduced on Apr. 15, 2020.
