Bishkek, May 9, 2018. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov took part in the Immortal Regiment march held in Bishkek, the Kyrgyz President's press service reported.
The Kyrgyz President was carrying a portrait of his grandfather Jeenbek Pirnazarov, listed on the list of missing persons in the Great Patriotic War. His sons Ermamat Jeenbekov and Toktomamat Jeenbekov, returned from the front with various injuries.
For their courage they were awarded the Order of the Red Star and medals. After the war, they worked for many years in leading positions in the Soviet party bodies, in various farms.
"Descendants will never forget about the exploits of our fathers and grandfathers, who defeated the enemy not sparing their lives for the sake of the country, for us. I also admire my grandfather Jeenbek Pirnazarov, his sons Ermamat and Toktomamat Jeenbekov, who fought in the Great Patriotic War. Nobody is forgotten, nothing is forgotten! A low bow to our heroes who gave their lives for the sake of our peaceful life," President Sooronbay Jeenbekov said and congratulated all compatriots on the Great Victory Day.
