President Jeenbekov takes part in SEEC meeting in Russia’s St. Petersburg

Bishkek, Dec.21, 2019. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov on Dec. 20 took part in the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Forum (SEEC) in Russia’s St. Petersburg.

The agenda included issues of increasing cooperation between the countries and deepening integration within the Eurasian Economic Union, the Kyrgyz President’s press service said Friday.

After narrow format talks, the SEEC meeting continued in extended format with participation of delegations’ members.

Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov, Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Russia Vladimir Putin, as well as Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and President of Moldova Igor Dodon (as an observer) took part in the Eurasian summit in St. Petersburg.

The delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic includes Minister of Foreign Affairs Chingiz Aidarbekov, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the President's Office Daniyar Sydykov, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Russia Alikbek Dzhekshenkulov, Deputy Prime Minister Jenish Razakov, Minister of Economy Sanjar Mukanbetov.

The Supreme Eurasian Economic Council is the highest supranational body of the Eurasian Economic Union.
