Bishkek, July 3, 2020 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov sent a statement in connection with the professional holiday of health care workers - the Day of Medical Worker.
The president’s press service said that congratulating the medical workers on professional holiday President Jeenbekov wished them good health, kindness, prosperity and success in their complex but noble work.
“You are at the forefront of the fight against the virus, the main burden of today's difficult situation fell on your shoulders.
Despite the direct threat to your life, you continue to work without sleep and rest in the name of saving the lives of compatriots.
Performing your duties with high responsibility, demonstrate fidelity to this oath.
We bow our heads to your selflessness and heroism,” Jeenbekov said in his statement expressing his gratitude to them for their tireless work and selfless loyalty to the profession.
The president voiced his deepest condolences to all compatriots who have lost their loved ones, stressing that there are doctors among the losses.
He also added that the relevant laws have been amended to improve the status of physicians, to provide material support to workers during a state of emergency, noting to continue to provide them support and care.
President Jeenbekov said that the pandemic has exposed the problems that have accumulated over the years in the health care system.
“We will solve all these problems and build effective management of this industry,” he noted.
Stressing the difficult situation in the country and the shortage of specialists, medical workers, he urged the creation of voluntary teams of senior students of medical educational institutions.
The Kyrgyz president expressed gratitude to everyone who extended a helping hand in the fight against this disease, urging all fellow citizens not to remain indifferent.
“These difficult days are a test of our strength - we must unite and be united as never before!,” he said.
