President Jeenbekov to hold regular meeting of Security Council

Bishkek, Jan.24, 2020 /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov will hold on Friday regular meeting of the country’s Security Council, his press service said.

The Council will review the implementation of decisions taken at the Council’s meetings in 2018-2019.

In addition, the proposals in the list of strategic objects of the Kyrgyz Republlic will be considered.

The meeting will result in the adoption of a decision of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic consists of the President - Chairman of the Council, parliament speaker, prime minister, head of the President’s Office, chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, deputy PM, chairman of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) in charge of defense and security issues, the Security Council’s secretary, prosecutor general, Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Internal Affairs, Emergency Situations, Chairmen of the State Border Service and State Committee for National Security.
