Bishkek, May 27, 2019. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov visited Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after Toktogul Satylganov, his press service reported.
The head of state continues visiting cultural facilities in the capital. Earlier he visited the Kyrgyz National Academic Drama Theatre named after Toktobolot Abdumomunov and the State National Russian Drama Theatre named after Chyngyz Aitmatov.
Azamat Jamankulov, the Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism, and Kyrgyzbay Osmonov, the Director General of the Philharmonic told the President about the renovation of the Philharmonic Hall. Aziz Surakmatov, the Mayor of Bishkek, presented information on the improvement of the nearby area.
Minister Azamat Jamankulov noted that at the moment the estimates have been completed and a tender for the repair of the opera and ballet theatre, Kyrgyz and Russian drama theatres has been announced.
After the tour President Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted that special attention will be paid to the cultural objects of the capital at the state level.
The Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Maldybayev, the Kyrgyz National Academic Drama Theatre named after Abdumomunov and the State National Russian Drama Theatre named after Aitmatov will be renovated this year.
