Bishkek, May 27, 2021. / Kabar / . President Sadyr Zhaparov laid on Thursday a capsule at the construction site of a new secondary school building in the village of Borborduk, Leilek region of Batken Oblast.
The press service of the Kyrgyz president reported that the two-storey school building is designed for 225 students.
Zhaparov also visited the Zhany-Zher border outpost in Leilek region.
At the meeting with the servicemen, the head of state noted that thanks to the preparedness, high moral spirit and heroism of border guards and law enforcement agencies of the country, it was possible to preserve the territorial integrity of the country.
The president talked to the local residents of Borborduk and Dostuk villages who voiced their questions.
Sadyr Zhaparov stressed that in the near future, Batken Oblast will be given a special status for the social and economic development of the region. As part of this status, the oblast will be given a number of benefits, including plans to introduce special tax and investment regimes.
"We do and will do everything necessary to ensure stability and security, as well as further comprehensive development of Batken Oblast in order to improve the socio-economic infrastructure of settlements, reduce unemployment, provide local residents with jobs and many other components," President Zhaparov noted.
