Bishkek, May 14, 2021 . / Kabar /. President Sadyr Zhaparov received on Friday a delegation of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), headed by its President Mustafa Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.
The Turkish delegation also included heads of major companies in agriculture, textile and food processing, energy, tourism, mining and construction industries, the press service of the Kyrgyz leader reported.

Welcoming the guests, President Zhaparov emphasized that as the head of state he fully supports the initiatives and projects of foreign investors in Kyrgyzstan and is ready to provide maximum assistance for their further implementation.
He stressed the Kyrgyz side will focus on projects aimed at expanding industrial cooperation, development of public-private partnerships, development of the agricultural sector, as well as mining and light industry, hydropower, tourism and other sectors of mutual interest.
In addition, the Kyrgyz leader noted the need to strengthen ties between the Governments in trade, economic and investment issues.

In this regard, Sadyr Zhaparov noted the importance of holding the 10th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on trade and economic cooperation and the Kyrgyz-Turkish Issyk-Kul Business Forum at the highest level, scheduled for July this year.
The head of state urged Turkish business to take an active part in the Issyk-Kul Business Forum, as well as to invest in various sectors of the domestic economy.
TOBB President Mustafa Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu conveyed warm words of greeting from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
He spoke in detail about the activities of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, which brings together representatives of small, medium and large Turkish businesses from all sectors of the economy.
Mustafa Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu noted Kyrgyzstan's great potential, including human potential, and stressed the need to increase the industrial potential for the country's development.

He also drew attention to the importance of reforming the activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan, expressing readiness to share experience in improving mechanisms for working with business.
