President meets with Speaker of Parliament, Prime Minister and Head of Supreme Court

Bishkek, May 27, 2019. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov met today with Speaker of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Dastanbek Dzhumabekov, Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev and Chairwoman of the Supreme Court Gulbara Kaliyeva.

The sides exchanged views on topical issues that are on agenda of the country, the press service of the President reported.

The head of state urged the heads of legislative, executive and judicial branches of power to carry out consolidated work on the implementation of strategic objectives for the development of the country's economy and the welfare of citizens. The President also called the judicial and legal reform one of the urgent tasks.

Jeenbekov emphasized the need for successful implementation of programs within the framework of the National Strategy for Sustainable Development of the country, including the development of regions and digitalization of the country.

The Kyrgyz leader also noted the importance of careful consideration and adoption of the draft laws on reforms in the economic, judicial and legal spheres, as well as in the electoral system.
