President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrives in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Sept. 3, 2018 / Kabar /. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in Kyrgyzstan.

First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov met the distinguished guest at the Issyk-Kul international airport, the Kyrgyz Government’s press service reported.

Ilham Aliyev arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the sixth meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States (CCTS) in the Kyrgyz Republic, which will be held on September 3, 2018 in Cholpon-Ata.

The Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States is an international organization uniting modern Turkic states, the main purpose of which is the development of all-round cooperation between member states. The Member States of the CCTS are the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkey.

It should be noted that this year the chairmanship in the CCTS from the Republic of Kazakhstan will be moved to the Kyrgyz Republic.
