Bishkek, May 9, 2020 / Kabar/. President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov and the people of Kyrgyzstan on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.
“May 9, 1945 is a sacred date that will forever remain in history as a symbol of unity, indestructible cohesion and unparalleled feat of peoples in the fight against fascist aggression in the name of peace and freedom.
With deep gratitude and pride, we recall the names of all who, at the cost of their own lives and incredible hardships, forged a common Victory on the battlefields and in the rear.
I’m sure the best tribute to the memory of our fathers and grandfathers will be further strengthening relations of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership between the fraternal peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan,” the telegram says.
Kasym-Jomart Tokayev conveyed to all veterans and homeworkers sincere wishes for good health, prosperity and longevity.
