Bishkek, Nov. 25, 2024. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov held one-on-one talks with Federal President of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen as part of his official visit to the Republic of Austria.
During the talks, the sides discussed current issues on the bilateral and international agenda. Particular attention was paid to issues of political interaction, as well as prospects for strengthening the partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Austria.
Alexander Van der Bellen emphasized the importance of a sustainable dialogue between the countries, which contributes to strengthening mutual trust and developing joint initiatives.
The head of state expressed gratitude to his Austrian counterpart for the invitation to visit Austria on an official visit, noting that this visit, the first in the last nine years, will be an important step towards strengthening Kyrgyz-Austrian interstate relations.
The President emphasized the existence of significant potential for expanding cooperation between the two countries and confirmed Kyrgyzstan's readiness for active cooperation in its implementation.
President Sadyr Zhaparov expressed confidence that the talks would give impetus to the development of Kyrgyz-Austrian relations and open up new opportunities for implementing joint projects in various fields.
