President of Kyrgyzstan receives country’s Minister of Finance

Bishkek, Jan. 11, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov received today the country's Finance Minister Baktygyul Jeenbaeva.

The execution of the republican budget, measures taken and plans for 2019 were discussed at the meeting, the President’s press service reported.

The Minister of Finance provided information on tax and other revenues to the republican budget.

President Jeenbekov drew attention to the need to take into account all the factors of the economy and tax regimes when forecasting the budget revenues.

He noted that important measures are the strengthening of financial discipline, the optimization of expenditures of ministries and departments, and ensuring the balance of the republican budget, which will reduce fiscal risks.

In addition, the President set tasks to carry out budget execution, guided by the goals of the National Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2018–2040.
