Bishkek, Nov. 24, 2021. / Kabar / . Sharshenbek Abdykerimov resigned from his post as president of the Wrestling Federation of Kyrgyzstan.
"We, the wrestling community, express our sincere gratitude to Sharshenbek Abdykerimov for great contribution to the development and popularization of Greco-Roman, freestyle and women's wrestling in the Kyrgyz Republic!,” the report said.
Abdykerimov, 51, personally submitted a corresponding application and explained this decision by the state of his health.
He served as the president of the Wrestling Federation since 2011.
