President of Uzbekistan approves two transport agreements with Kyrgyzstan

Tashkent, Dec. 18, 2017 / Kabar /. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved two international agreements with Kyrgyzstan, Uzbek media reported.

Mirziyoyev signed a decree approving a protocol on introducing changes and amendments to the Agreement between the Governments of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan on the international road traffic dated September 4, 1996.

By another decision, Mirziyoyev approved the Agreement between Kyrgyz and Uzbek Governments on the delegation of responsibility for air traffic services.

Both documents were signed on October 6, 2017 in Tashkent during the visit of Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev to Uzbekistan.

The President instructed the Uzbek Foreign Ministry to send a relevant notification to the Kyrgyz side on Uzbekistan's compliance with the domestic procedures required for the entry into force of international treaties.
