Bishkek, March 20 / Kabar /. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev and the people of the country on the Nooruz holiday, the Kyrgyz president’s press service reports.
"Please accept my sincere congratulations and good wishes on the occasion of the coming holiday of spring and renovation - Nooruz. Nooruz, distinguished for its antiquity and amazing beauty, profound meaning and philosophy, reflects the originality and similarity of customs and cultural values of the fraternal peoples of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Our peoples meet this wonderful holiday, which links the fulfillment of good intentions with it, with great hopes and impatience.
In these holidays, we are in favor of further strengthening the good-neighborly relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, based on the unshakable principles of mutual trust and respect.
I am confident that by joint efforts we will be able to raise the Uzbek-Kyrgyz long-term and multifaceted partnership to the level corresponding to our potentials," the congratulatory message says.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished President Almazbek Atambaev good health, family well-being and new successes, and the friendly people of Kyrgyzstan - peace, prosperity and further progress.
