Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2023 . / Kabar / President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov opened a new Chase-Kuduk border post, located in Karkyra area of Tyup region within his working trip to Issyk-Kul Oblast.
Construction of the post began in September 2023, it is equipped with all necessary conditions for accommodation and service and combat activities to protect remote areas of the border.
The personnel of the new unit will protect a remote and rather difficult section of the border, which passes at an altitude of 2280 meters above sea level, and belongs to the Karkyra department of border service.
In addition to border protection, the post's border guards will control foreign and domestic tourists and monitor the maintenance of the border and state border regime at the entrance to the pastures Uch-Suu, Kichi-Chon-Zhynalach and Turuk.
Sadyr Zhaparov drew special attention of the border guards to the need to observe service discipline and military etiquette, strict fulfillment of assigned duties.
