President ratifies agreement with IDA on modernization of hydro-meteorological services in Central Asia

Bishkek, May 7, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov signed the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Development Association (IDA) on financing the project “Modernization of hydro-meteorological services in Central Asia”, signed on Nov. 26, 2018 in Bishkek”, The President’s press service reported.

The law was passed by the Jogorku Kenesh on May 2, 2019.

The Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic should, in the prescribed manner, notify the International Development Association of the implementation by the Kyrgyz Republic of the internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of the aforementioned Agreement.

The law enters into force 10 days after the date of official publication.
