Bishkek, May 5, 2021. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov signed a new Constitution and addressed the people of the country.
The participants of the event honored with a minute of silence the memory of those killed in the recent events on the Kyrgyz-Tajik section of the state border in Batken Oblast.
Sadyr Zhaparov noted that the restoration of destroyed villages will begin in the near future, and the affected citizens will receive full support from the state.
In his message, Sadyr Zhaparov touched upon many important political and economic topics, noted the aspirations of society, paid attention to the problems of business and socially vulnerable categories of citizens, determined the foreign policy vector, stressed the importance of reviving the self-consciousness of the people, in particular, the message sounded to hold the Kyrgyz Forum and the World Kurultai, and also to develop a national program "Kyrgyz Aalamy".
In addition, Sadyr Zhaparov voiced proposals for reforming the law enforcement agencies and the Armed Forces of the country.
The event was attended by deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, members of the government, representatives of the judiciary, and public figures.
