Bishkek, Nov. 26, 2024. /Kabar As part of an official visit to Austria President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov and Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria Karl Nehammer held talks in Vienna on Monday.
Before the talks, the head of state left a memorable entry in the Book of Honored Guests, expressing best wishes to the people of Austria.
The sides discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, exchanged views on the prospects for trade, economic, investment cooperation and the implementation of joint projects in the energy sector and other sectors of mutual interest.
During the conversation, the Federal Chancellor reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation based on the principles of democracy, respect for human rights and the rule of law.
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized the need to further expand cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Austria, noting that the existing partnership creates good opportunities for the implementation of joint initiatives. President Zhaparov expressed gratitude to the Austrian side for cooperation and emphasized that Kyrgyzstan intends to continue working to create favorable conditions for successful cooperation between the two countries in all areas.
