Bishkek, Jan. 28, 2021. /Kabar/. After officially taking office as President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Zhaparov arrived in the Government House of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the central entrance of the Government House he was met by Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, former Acting President of the Kyrgyz Republic Talant Mamytov who accompanied Zhaparov to his office.
At the entrance of the cabinet, the head of state was met by Acting Prime Minister Artem Novikov, Head of the President's Office Suyunbek Kasmambetov and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev.
The inauguration ceremony of President-elect Sadyr Zhaparov was held today at the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic building in Bishkek.
More than a thousand people took part in the official ceremony. In particular, prominent figures of the country, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, ex-presidents, ex-speakers of parliament, ex-prime ministers, heads of confessions of Kyrgyzstan, the diplomatic corps, representatives of international organizations, elder people and ordinary citizens have been invited. Also, Zhaparov's opponents at the last elections were invited to the ceremony.
Sadyr Zhaparov won the Jan. 10 early presidential elections with 79.2% of the votes.
