Bishkek, April 7, 2021. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov honored the memory of the fallen heroes of the April people's revolution, his press service reported.
The event, which took place in the National Ata-Beyit Historical and Memorial Complex was attended by Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Talant Mamytov, Prime Minister Ulukbek Maripov, acting Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Nurgul Bakirova; ex-presidents Roza Otunbayeva and Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
They laid flowers at the Memorials in memory of those killed in 1916, victims of political repressions of 1937-1938, heroes of the April 2010 revolution and the grave of the writer Chyngyz Aitmatov, and also read a memorial prayer in honor of their memory.
Further, on the central Ala-Too square in Bishkek, flowers were laid at the Monument in memory of those who died for the freedom of the people during the Aksy events of 2002 and the April events of 2010.
