Bishkek, Sept. 21, 2024 /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov flew to New York (United States of America) today, September 21, to participate in the events of the High-Level Week of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
As part of the visit, the head of state will take part in the Future Summit and speak at the general debate of the UN General Assembly.
In addition, a number of bilateral meetings will be held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, including with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
The official delegation includes:
- Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev;
- Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Muratbek Azymbakiev;
- Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the United States Baktybek Amanbaev;
- Head of the Department of Political and Economic Research of the Presidential Administration Bakyt Sydykov;
- Permanent Representative of Kyrgyzstan to the UN in New York Aida Kasymalieva.
