Bishkek, Sept. 10, 2024. / Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov received today the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Kyrgyzstan Sergei Molunov.
The head of state congratulated Sergei Molunov on his appointment, noting that he became the first ambassador who was honored to officially present his credentials in the new building of the presidential administration - "Yntymak Ordo".
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized that in general, over the past period, bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Belarus have noticeably intensified, and truly good partnership and friendly relations have developed.
"We cooperate in almost all areas. Political interaction is consistently carried out at all levels, trade turnover between the two countries is growing, and cultural and humanitarian contacts are constantly expanding," the president noted.
Moving on to the practical side of bilateral cooperation, the head of state noted that one of the priority areas of Kyrgyzstan's policy is the development of the industrial sector. In this regard, there is enormous potential for joint cooperation of industrial projects, in which Belarus has extensive experience.
President Sadyr Zhaparov particularly emphasized the importance of using the entire existing potential of bilateral cooperation.
In turn, Ambassador Sergei Molunov, thanking Sadyr Zhaparov for his congratulations, assured that he would make the most of his professional and human qualities to expand Kyrgyz-Belarusian cooperation. He emphasized that President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, speaking about the dynamic development of bilateral relations with Kyrgyzstan, notes them as "brilliant".
The ambassador also outlined the actively developing trade and economic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Belarus, noting that the Belarusian side is ready to share knowledge and experience with Kyrgyzstan in every possible way in such issues as the mining industry, energy and transit. At the end of the conversation, President Sadyr Zhaparov wished the Ambassador of Belarus Sergei Molunov success in his diplomatic mission.
