President Sadyr Zhaparov receives credentials from ambassadors of number of countries

Bishkek, Aug. 11, 2021. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov received credentials of ambassadors of a number of foreign states accredited in the country, the press service of the head of state reported.

Letters of credence were presented by Ambassadors of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong Oan, Arab Republic of Egypt Manal Al Sayed Yahya Al Shinnawi, Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka Mohan Vigevikrama, Brazil Rubem Antonio Correa Barbosa, Austria Willy Kempel, Iceland Aurni Thor Sigurdson, the Kingdom of Cambodia Kim Heng Meas, the Republic of Uganda Muhammad Tezikuba Kisambira.

In his speech, Sadyr Zhaparov congratulated the ambassadors on their appointment, expressing the hope that their active and purposeful activities would further strengthen friendly and partnership relations with Kyrgyzstan.

“We are interested in expanding mutually beneficial and fruitful cooperation with your countries at the bilateral and multilateral levels. You are faced with the urgent task of deepening political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. At the same time, I would like to express my readiness to provide you with any assistance in your important and responsible diplomatic activity,” the head of state said.

According to him, today's ceremony is taking place on the eve of an important event - the 30th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's independence.

The president emphasized that in this short period of time, the Kyrgyz Republic has established itself as a peaceful, responsible and active member of the international community and has taken its rightful place in the world.

He dwelled on the basic principles of the foreign policy of the state, based on openness, balance and love of peace, aimed at protecting the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the national interests of the country.

The head of state informed about the reform of the public administration system, measures to strengthen democratic principles, the formation of an independent judicial system, the solution of socio-economic and environmental problems and the improvement of the well-being of people.

Zhaparov wished the ambassadors success in their important and responsible diplomatic service.

In turn, the ambassadors expressed their readiness to make every effort to achieve positive results in strengthening friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation between the countries.
