Bishkek, Feb. 19, 2024. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, will pay a working visit to the Russian Federation on February 20-21, head of the foreign policy department of the presidential administration, Muratbek Azymbakiev told.
He said that President Zhaparov will take part in the official opening ceremony of the International Multisport Tournament “Games of the Future” in the city of Kazan.
The event will feature a complex of sports competitions in the format of physical sports, computer (e-sports) sports with the participation of more than 260 teams and about 2000 athletes and computer (cyber) athletes from different countries in 21 unique innovative disciplines.
A number of foreign heads of state, prominent international and public figures, and heads of large IT companies are expected to attend.
“On the sidelines of the event, bilateral meetings will be held between Sadyr Zhaparov and Russian President Vladimir Putin and head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
During the meetings, the parties will discuss current issues of Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation, including in the trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and investment spheres,” noted Muratbek Azymbakiev.
