Bishkek, Feb.12, 2020. /Kabar/. "I set a task to fully implement in 2020 the principle of Unified Window in the granting of permits for construction and expertise," President Sooronbay Jeenbekov said at the second meeting of the Committee for Industry and Entrepreneurship Development under the National Council for Sustainable Development.
Jeenbekov noted the need to further simplify tax procedures.
He named fiscalization of the tax system is another important task. First of all, electronic invoices and online cash registers should be introduced.
"It is urgent to solve the issue of wide introduction of electronic signature in practice together with business. Along with it there is a problem on continuation of reforms in sphere of licensing and permitting, and automation of the given process,” the Kyrgyz leader stressed.
President Jeenbekov criticized the leadership of the State Agency of Architecture, Construction and Housing and Communal Services, and noted that due to the failure to meet this task and barriers in the construction sector, Kyrgyzstan over the past four years dropped from 20th to 90th place, losing 70 positions in the Doing Business rating for obtaining construction permit.
The second meeting of the Committee for Industry and Entrepreneurship Development was held today in Bishkek with the participation of President Sooronbay Jeenbekov.
The meeting participants considered three issues: the state of investment protection and observance of business entities’ rights, legal aspects of decriminalization of economic crimes, and the implementation of the legislation on protection of entrepreneurship by law enforcement agencies.
The event was attended by heads of state bodies and representatives of business community of the country.
The first meeting of the Committee for Industry and Entrepreneurship Development under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz President was held on June 24, 2019.
