President signs law "On National Television and Radio Corporation of Kyrgyz Republic"

Bishkek, May 13, 2022. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov signed the Law “On the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic”.

The law was adopted by the Kyrgyz Parliament on April 6, 2022.

This document is aimed at reforming the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Corporation by transforming it into the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

This law determines the status of the broadcasting organization, its role and place in the information space of the country and in the implementation of the state information policy.

At the same time, the document is aimed at creating conditions for independent determination of editorial policy, improving the quality of information products (content), improving management decisions of the National Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
