Bishkek, Nov. 24, 2017. /Kabar/.The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sooronbai Zheenbekov, held the first meeting with presidential administration leadership, Kyrgyz President’s press service reported. Zheenbekov outlined a short-term work plan, remarked the primary goals and tasks and demanded an early implementation.
Zheenbekov also reminded that it is necessary to finalize the draft of the Strategy for Sustainable Development of the country until February 15, 2018, which was adopted as a basis on 15 November 2017 at the meeting of the National Council for Sustainable Development of the Kyrgyz Republic under the chairmanship of Almazbek Atambaev. He stressed that the draft National Strategy for Sustainable Development for 2018-2040 should be adopted in late February next year.
In addition, the president gave the assignment to hold a meeting of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic in the near future, where the main directions of further struggle against corruption will be outlined. "In our country in recent years, there has been a fight against corruption, which created all conditions for the purification of society from corruption. We must continue to fight against corruption," the president said.
