Bishkek, Dec.26, 2019. /Kabar/. At the Presidential New Year Tree, Kyrgyz leader Sooronbay Jeenbekov congratulated the children on the coming New Year, and wished them success in all their endeavors.
He noted that children today have seen many interesting things from the world of computers and digitalization.
"If we return to history, our ancestors have left us a beautiful land, a free and independent country. Tireless work is being done to develop the country. Time comes and you will be responsible for the fate of our people and our country. You are our future. Today we see that a worthy generation is growing up behind us. You should protect our country's interests, strengthen it and develop it with the help of new modern technologies," Jeenbekov said.
He added today the work on digitalization of schools is actively carried out, all conditions are being created for children to receive a decent education in schools.
"You are our pride. We, adults, are always sincerely happy about your achievements at international Olympiads and sports competitions. You represent Kyrgyzstan to the whole world. I wish you health, success in your studies, much joy and good grades," the President wished.
The Kyrgyz leader presented the children with sweets, and they, in turn, gave him a robot made by young inventors.
The Presidential New Year Tree took place today, Dec. 26 at the Toktogul Satylganov National Philharmonic in capital city of Bishkek.
Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov came to the event with First Lady Aigul Tokoyeva.
A total of 1100 children from all oblasts of the country have been invited to the New Year Tree.
Among them are honors pupils, activists, children from boarding schools, low-income families and children with disabilities.
