Cholpon-Ata, June 1, 2022. /Kabar/. As part of his working trip to Issyk-Kul Oblast, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov took part in the opening after reconstruction of the Altyn Balalyk medical and rehabilitation complex in Cholpon-Ata.
"Today we are witnessing another significant event. You all remember that in October 2021, a charity marathon was announced to raise funds to launch this center. As a result, we were able to collect KGS 30 million 90 thousand, which contributed to accelerating the construction of the complex. Not a single som has been spent from the republican budget. We need to bring up healthy children. Children are our future," said the head of the state at the opening ceremony.
The event was attended by Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov, Governor of Issyk-Kul Oblast Altynbek Sulaimanov, Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev and Minister of Digital Development Talantbek Imanov, employees of the center, civil servants, local residents and patients.
According to the project, the complex is designed for 500 beds and consists of 8 blocks, in which the following departments are deployed: allergology, oncology, pulmonology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatric surgery, functional diagnostics and neurology.
The complex also has sleeping blocks, clinical laboratories, a catering facility, a laundry and a magnetic resonance imaging facility.
The total area of the complex is 19,500 square meters. The location of this complex was chosen taking into account the climatic and balneological conditions on the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.
