Bishkek, April 25, 2022. / Kabar /. In an inclusive interview with Kabar News Agency, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov answered the question whether the ban on holding rallies in Bishkek complies with the Constitution.
The president said that there is no ban.
"Citizens can hold a rally in Gorky Park on any day. We only ask not to gather in front of embassies. We must have respectful relations with other countries. From now on, we won't let hold rallies in front of embassies. Recently about 10 people gathered in front of the Tajik Embassy. We found out about it late. But a warning was given then. We should stop gathering at the embassies," said the head of state.
Sadyr Zhaparov noted that democracy is necessary, but citizens must be able to use it with benefit and culturally.
