Bishkek, May 28, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov visited on Thursday the Orto-Boz border outpost in Batken region of Batken Oblast.
The president familiarized with the conditions of military service, talked with border guards and asked about the existing issues, his press service said.
Further, Sadyr Zhaparov got acquainted with the construction of the Samarkandek - Madigen - Darkum road, which connects Leilek and Batken regions.
The road will provide residents of 17 villages in Batken Oblast with a much shorter route to the town of Isfana in Leilek region. The construction of the Samarkandek - Madigen - Darkum road is an extremely important project for strengthening the border and ensuring the transport security of the country.
The head of the state stressed the extreme importance of laying the road in this strategic section located near the state border.
Sadyr Zhaparov noted the importance of building internal roads, which are an important factor for economic growth and sustainable development of the regions.
