Bishkek, July 21, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zaparov instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to strengthen the complex of measures to prevent natural disasters in the country's regions, his press service said Wednesday.
The president noted that due togrowing likelihood of various natural disasters - mudslides, landslides and flooding, employees of the involved state agencies and services should be transferred to a high readiness mode.
Regular monitoring and control of potentially dangerous areas exposed to mudflows and other slope processes should be carried out on a permanent basis to ensure the safety of health and life of citizens of the country, as well as the safety of their property.
At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to intensify the response to the mudslides in Jalal-Abad and Batken Oblasts.
President Zhaparov expressed his deep condolences to the families of those who died and suffered as a result of the natural disaster.
All those injured as a result of the disaster will be provided with all possible support from the state.
