Bishkek, Feb. 25, 2021. / Kabar /. "Kyrgyzstan pays close attention to creating favorable conditions for work and protection of investors,” Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov said on Thursday at a meeting with representatives of the large Russian business community.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz president, the meeting was held in Moscow on the site of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
In his speech, President Zhaparov said Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to maintaining and deepening of Kyrgyz-Russian strategic partnership and alliance, particularly in trade, economic and investment spheres.
He noted a mutual interest in promoting joint projects in priority sectors of the economy, including energy, mining, agriculture, subsoil use, industrial production and tourism.
"Given the strategic nature of Kyrgyz-Russian relations, it is more important than ever for us to give a new impetus to the expansion of comprehensive trade and economic cooperation and industrial and investment interaction.
We clearly understand the need for the practical implementation of major investment projects, which, in turn, will contribute to the development of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as the diversification of ties, the creation of new production facilities, increasing the added value chains of the production and service cycle," the president said.
The Kyrgyz leader enumerated the transformations of economic nature that are planned to be implemented after the planned constitutional reforms in the country.
Thus, first of all, special attention and favorable conditions will be paid to bona fide investors with international recognition and stable reputation.
Secondly, maximum quality access to projects will be ensured.
Thirdly, significant benefits for investors are envisaged, as well as measures to ensure their rights and interests.
