President Zhaparov leaves for Turkmenistan

Bishkek, Oct. 11, 2024. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Zhaparov has left for Turkmenistan at the invitation of its leader Serdar Berdimuhamedow.

The Kyrgyz president is expected to attend the international forum “Interconnection of Times and Civilizations - Basis of Peace and Development”, timed to the 300th anniversary of Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi.

The official delegation includes:

- Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev;

- Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Muratbek Azymbakiev;

- Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy Altynbek Maksutov;

- Kyrgyz Ambassador to Turkmenistan Azizbek Madmarov.
