Bishkek, March 2, 2021 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov met today with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin.
The Kyrgyz president's press service reported that an exchange of views took place on the development of trade and economic cooperation, the expansion of cultural and humanitarian interaction and other topical topics of the joint agenda.
Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin noted the importance of strengthening friendly ties between fraternal peoples and expressed readiness to deepen mutually beneficial economic cooperation between the countries.
President Sadyr Zhaparov expressed gratitude on behalf of the Kyrgyz people for the large-scale assistance during the outbreak of coronavirus infection in 2020, which was one of the first to be provided to Kyrgyzstan by the government of Kazakhstan, including the creation of "green corridors" for the return of Kyrgyzstanis.
The head of state stressed that the top leadership of Kazakhstan makes a valuable contribution to strengthening the unity and close relationship between the two peoples.
President Sadyr Zhaparov expressed the willingness and interest of the Kyrgyz side to expand trade, economic and investment cooperation with Kazakhstan.
