Bishkek, April 2, 2021 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov took part in the solemn ceremony of presenting state awards to distinguished citizens of the country, his press service said.
Speaking at the ceremony the head of state stressed that this year Kyrgyzstan is celebrating an important event - the 30th anniversary of its independence.
He said that during this time, political history was filled with various events, but nevertheless, the Kyrgyz people did not go out of their way in search of the main goal - to strengthen statehood, because they strove for stability, order and development.
The president noted that another important event awaits the country in the coming days - along with the elections to local councils, a referendum on the draft of the new Basic Law will be held. Sadyr Zhaparov expressed his conviction that the new Constitution will bring the progressive development expected by the citizens of the country and will significantly reduce the level of bureaucracy in the activities of government agencies.
The head of state noted with satisfaction the merits of those present, including outstanding representatives of the spheres of health care, education, science, agriculture and sports. The president added that their glorious work for the good of the Fatherland is an example for contemporaries and future generations at all times. Among them are academicians Duisho Kudayarov and Mambet Mamakeev, public figure Kemel Ashiraliev, writers Samsak Stanaliev and Sovetbek Baygaziev and many others.
Sadyr Zhaparov also emphasized the heroism of doctors in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, who risked their lives to save patients.
In addition, he focused on cultural and literary figures who, thanks to their talent and efforts, worked tirelessly, glorifying the country and contributing to the treasury of spiritual values.
President Sadyr Zhaparov congratulated those present on receiving state awards and wished them good health, success and prosperity.
The state awards were awarded to 125 people, including doctors, teachers, sports coaches, journalists, cultural figures, entrepreneurs and others.
