Bishkek, Jan. 28, 2021. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov received on Thursday Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Member of Supervisory Board of PJSC Gazprom Vitaly Markelov.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz president, the sides discussed priority areas of cooperation and further measures to improve the gas supply system of the country.
The head of the state noted Gazprom makes great contribution to the development of the gas industry of Kyrgyzstan and expressed gratitude for the work done in this direction.
Sadyr Zhaparov looked forward to continuing constructive cooperation and stressed readiness to build up mutually beneficial cooperation.
In turn, Vitaly Markelov conveyed congratulations from Alexey Miller, the chairman of the Management Board of PJSC Gazprom on Sadyr Zhaparov's assumption of the presidency.
He reported on the ongoing construction of gas pipeline systems in the country, informed about the company's plans for the near future, including the improvement of the environmental situation in Bishkek through gasification of households and businesses.
Markelov also noted Gazprom continues to implement a number of social projects and programs, following the principles of high social responsibility.
